I’m Anubhav Srivastava, Co-Founder of Uptales, a VocaTales company.
After two decades in business and tech leadership, I made an unconventional move stepping away from the corporate world to serve the creative community — the story builders. In my eyes, they are one of the most powerful forces on the planet. Stories crafted be it written, visual, motion and whether personal, brand, or business are the most human thing we have.
Here’s a truth I believe in with my whole heart:
Writers, creators, and storytellers are architects of meaning. Stories shape culture, identity, belief, and possibility. And every storyteller deserves support.
As I began writing my own fiction novel and building VocaTales, an all-in-one storytelling platform, I realized I wasn’t alone in my struggles. I kept running into the same wall — both as a writer and as a founder — the wall every serious creator eventually hits, facing confusion, burnout, and advice that didn’t really help:
“Is my story good? Will it resonate with readers, users, investors..?” “Will anyone care?” “Where can I find someone I can trust to help me level up?”
And I am not the only one facing these questions, I run one of the largest online writing communities of writers, and storytellers (now over a quarter million strong). For some, money is the barrier. For most, TRUST is. And that’s the problem we chose to solve.
