No subscription or listing fee for Sellers for the first 3 listings. There's a $9 fee monthly fee to create more listings.

As a builder, you can buy as many session with the same or multiple masters, per their available time slots. We cannot guarantee the same expert every time if their schedule is booked.

Absolutely. Your UpTales profile includes your portfolio and a link to your website. You’re free to continue working with clients outside of UpTales — only bookings made through the platform are subject to commission.

For Builders, we take pride in connecting you to the best experts, for free. We just want your stories to succeed.

For Experts, we take a 20% on the first $2,500 of your total income from Uptales. After that we drop our commission to 10% of your income above $2500. This includes promotion, listing, call setup, and support.

Yes, yes, and yes — but all on your terms. You control your services and pricing. You can pause or deactivate your listing anytime with no penalties. We do ask all sellers, and builders, to agree to a simple, transparent agreement covering expectations, payouts, and platform use, all covered under our "Terms of Use" as they create an account with us. No fine print. No gotchas.

Every single expert on Uptales has a personal, first-degree connection with the founding team. We speak to each expert directly — no shortcuts, no automation. The only exception: referrals from existing experts. Even then, they must speak with a founder before being listed. This ensures we maintain absolute conviction in every expert we onboard.

To ensure trust of Uptales and our experts stripe requires an exhaustive trusted, and encrypted verification process for Experts before they can accept work or receive payouts.

Our robust verification process involves:

• Uploading a government-issued photo ID (e.g. driver’s license, passport)
• Submitting a selfie or live photo to confirm the ID matches you
• Verifying Social Security Number (SSN) (for U.S. residents) or equivalent tax/identity identifier in other regions
• Providing proof of address / residence
• Linking a bank account (or payout account) so we can send your earnings securely
• In some cases, supplying additional business or ownership documents
